  • Motorola One Vision spotted on Geekbench with Exynos 9610, 48MP rear camera; could be P40
  • “As per the listing, the One Vision aka P40 will feature the Exynos 9610 SoC, a 48MP rear camera, and ships with Android 9.0 Pie”

Motorola is reportedly working on two mid-range phones powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7 series chipsets for quite some time now. One of them is widely rumoured to be the P40the successor to the last year’s Motorola P30. Now a Moto phone dubbed the Motorola One Vision has been spotted on the Geekbench website. The benchmark reveals that the handset will be powered by the Exynos 9610 SoC, 6GB RAM and run on Android 9.0 Pie, indicating that it indeed could be the rumoured P40.

The phone scored 1,599 points in the single-core test and 5,328 points in the multi-core test. As for the specifications, the Motorola P40 will come in three RAM and storage variants — 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB, and 4GB + 128GB.  While the display size is unknown, it will have a punch-hole display to accommodate the selfie camera as revealed in our exclusive CAD-based 5K renders and 360-degree video of the P40. For biometrics-based security, there is a fingerprint sensor on the back and the handset might support NFC as well. The handset will feature a dual rear camera setup, with the primary shooter featuring a 48MP lens. Details about the secondary shooter and the front camera are unknown at the moment.

Lastly, the phone could be offered in Blue and Gold colours. Unfortunately, that’s what we know so far and details regarding the launch date and pricing are unknown. Though P30 was exclusive to China, the brand launched it globally as Motorola One Power as part of the Android One series. If Motorola follows the same with the P40, it might come to India along with the other markets.
