Coolsmartphone | EMUI 9.1 coming to stacks of older Honor and Huawei kit

Based on Android Pie, EMUI 9.1 is the latest iteration of the Huawei / Honor skin. The newest version brings the incoming call videos we mentioned just the other day, plus improvements to GPU Turbo mode, voice assistants triggering via the power button and much more.

The latest EMUI 9.1 appeared on the Huawei P30 Pro, but via this Weibo post it's now clear that the update will be appearing on a huge amount of current and previous devices. The Huawei Mate 20 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro are running 9.1, as are the Huawei Mate 20 X and Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design, but the following other handsets are in testing…

As usual, if you've got your Huawei or Honor through a network, you may have to wait a little, but it's good to see so many phones being brought up to the latest Android / EMUI 9.1.
