OnePlus utilizes the Open Beta channel for testing out new updates to OxygenOS and gathering feedback, while simultaneously allowing the community to experience upcoming changes to the OS before they are rolled out to the public. The Open Beta system of updates has been very successful for OnePlus, and the OEM has continued on with providing new Betas on a regular schedule, like it did with the previous set of releases. OnePlus is now rolling out OxygenOS Open Beta 30 for the OnePlus 5 and OxygenOS Open Beta 28 for the OnePlus 5T.

The highlight of this pair of releases is the bump up to April 2019's Android security patches. The included OnePlus Launcher has also gained the Parking Location feature in the Shelf pane, allowing your phone to remember your parking location for you. You can use GPS for outdoor parking spots, and you can take a picture for indoor parking spots where GPS data may not be available. Having this shortcut handy will positively impact the user experience for a lot of consumers.
The complete changelog for the update is as follows:

The goal of Open Betas is to find out bugs and other broken functionality before rolling out the update in the stable channels. As such, it is implied that certain features may be broken. Historically, Open Betas have been decently stable in nature, but irrespective of this fact, please do back up your data before installing this update.
