Vivo V11 Pro is a mid-range smartphone with exciting looks, powerful specifications inclusive of Snapdragon 660 and 6GB RAM, in-display fingerprint, and a price of ₹25,990 launched by Vivo in India last year. Since the V11 Pro almost leans into the premium segment in the country, it has been among the company's top priorities for an Android 9.0 Pie update. As per schedule, the Android Pie update is rolling out to the V11 Pro units in India and it brings a Dark theme, an improved gaming mode, a new quick toggle for switching SIMs, automated shortcuts, and much more.
FunTouch OS, Vivo's custom Android skin, has been upgraded to version 9 based on Android Pie. This brings a new UI with intricate details to complement the boost in V11 Pro's performance. The update weighs in at 3.11GB so make sure you have that much space empty on your smartphone. Besides the refreshed UI, the update brings a Dark Mode which uses darker colors in the UI to improve the viewing experience on the AMOLED display. Furthermore, the update brings certain improvements to the camera and the smart Assistant Jovi.

Besides the improvement in performance, the update brings an updated gaming assistant for better utilization of resources. The Vivo V11 Pro also gets a Game Box mode for a realistic three-dimensional sound experience while gaming, especially with battle royale titles like PUBG. Additionally, the new Shortcuts Center, which can be used to automate multiple actions into a single workflow (similar to Tasker or iOS Shortcuts), is now available on the V11 Pro.
Thank you for contacting Vivo India. We would like to inform you that recently Android pie update has been released in V11Pro but it is for testing purpose whenever it will be compatible with the handset then you will get the notification for the same.

With multiple users reporting the update, Vivo has clarified that this update is for "testing purposes" and is available only to a limited number of V11 Pro units. The company hasn't really clarified its selection criteria and is saying that users will get a notification when the update is available on their smartphones.
Hi all, the OS was launched officially yesterday in China. Our latest V15 Pro comes with OS 9 and same had been developed for remaining devices. Rest assured that you will be getting the update soon enough.
