Xda-Developers | The Honor 20i goes on sale in India today at 12PM via Flipkart

Huawei's online-first approach has proved very beneficial in dynamic smartphone markets like India. Last year, Huawei's sub-brand Honor was the among the fastest-growing brands with a 183% growth and this response from the Indian consumer base helps Honor aspire for one-fifth of the market share by 2020. To keep this momentum going, Honor recently announced the Honor 2o series, includes the flagships Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro as well as the mid-range offering Honor 20i, in India. While the flagships in the series have their own charm, the Honor 20i is a device more suited for the Indian market for its pricing as well as the glamor of a triple camera under ₹15,000 (~$215).

The Honor 20i is going on sale for the first time in India today at 12 PM. The smartphone is available in two colors – Midnight black and Phantom Blue – via Flipkart. A third color, Phantom Red, will be added on later. While the original price of the Honor 20i is ₹14,999, you can avail a discount of 10% using Axis Bank cards. Plus, there are various zero-interest EMI options to choose from. If you're looking to exchange your old device, you can avail an additional discount of ₹2,000 over the exchange bonus. This is a flash sale so you'll have to be quick so that you don't miss out on the opportunity of buying the smartphone.

Besides its attractive and shiny dack design, the Honor 20i's primary highlight is its triple camera setup on the back. The smartphone features a 24MP primary sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide module for 120º field of view and a 2MP sensor for depth sensing. On the front, there's a 32MP selfie camera with AI to improve background lighting as well as beautify your face.

Another compelling feature for this price is the 128GB inbuilt storage. On the performance front, the smartphone gets 4GB of RAM and a HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC. The smartphone sports EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9 Pie but we can expect it to receive the update to EMUI 9.1 soon.
