Redmi K20 series pre-booking Alpha Sale in India will start at 12pm. Xiaomi fans will be able to reserve a unit of the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro on Mi.com and Flipkart at noon by paying a small sum. Notably, this will allow you to purchase the new Redmi phones in the first sale before anyone else when they launch in the country on July 17th. While the pre-booking doesn’t guarantee a unit of these handsets, it does provides a priority access to the first sale. The phones will be offered on the first come, first serve basis only.
To get the Redmi K20 or K20 Pro Alpha Sale access pass, go to Flipkart and Mi.com at 12pm today and purchase it by paying a sum of Rs 855. Then add the voucher to your Flipkart or Mi.com account on their websites, and you are done. Then during the Alpha Sale on July 17th, return to the site you purchased the access pass and redeem it to buy any of the Redmi K20 smartphone. It’s worth mentioning that the Rs 855 pre-booking amount is totally refundable if you don’t complete the purchase.
Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro specifications
For the uninitiated, the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro were introduced in China earlier this year. Both the smartphones have a pop-up selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Notably, the Redmi K20 Pro is one of the most affordable phones in the world with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. The Redmi K20 utilises a Snapdragon 730 chipset. Both come with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display, a triple camera setup at the rear, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
The Redmi K20 series price in India isn’t available at the moment. However, they are available in China at the starting price of Rs 20,000.
