Vivo has announced festive discounts on a couple of its Y-series phones – Vivo Y91i and Vivo Y12 – in India. The budget-centric Vivo Y91i will be available at Rs 7,490 instead of its previous MOP of Rs 7,999, while the Vivo Y12 will set you back to Rs 10,990 – down from its launch price of Rs 11,990, on offline stores in the country. Both the handsets come with a Halo-notch display and a beefy battery cell. The sale will be live throughout this festive season in the country. Apart from this, Vivo is also offering bank offers, no-cost EMI, and finance with the phones. Customers can also avail these offers with Vivo Y91, which is retailing in India at Rs 8,990.
Vivo Y12 specifications
The Vivo Y12 features a 6.35-inch HD+ Halo FullView display with a waterdrop notch and 19:3:9 aspect ratio. The phone rocks 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC paired with 3GB + 64GB and 4GB + 32GB onboard storage that is further expandable via microSD card. The handset runs Android 9.0 Pie with Funtouch OS 9.0 and houses 5,000mAh battery with intelligent power saving mode fuels the phone. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security.
For photography, the Vivo Y12 features triple cameras at the back that bears 13-megapixel + 8-megapixel + a 2-megapixel setup. The rear cameras offer HDR and portraits mode. At its core lies 12nm octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC backed by IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU, aided by 2GB RAM and 16GB or 32GB storage onboard, which is further expanded up to 256GB through a microSD card. The rear camera of the phone rocks 13MP f/2.2 rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP f/1.8 front-facing camera for selfies. A 4,030mAh battery fuels the handset.
