Earlier this month, Adam Conway compared a few of the top fitness trackers on the market right now. The Honor Band 5 is one of the newer entries and the Fitbit Inspire HR is one of the top offerings from arguably the most popular fitness wearable maker. Adam put these two devices head-to-head in a video for XDA TV.
The Fitbit Inspire HR is easily the most expensive of the two, but it comes from a company that has tons of experience in this field. That gives the Fitbit an extra level of refinement and Adam says it's the clear choice if fitness is your focus. If you're looking for a fitness band that is sightly closer on the spectrum to a smartwatch, the Honor Band 5 might be a better choice.
Adam explains how the Fitbit Inspire HR is a fitness-focused wearable through and through. Because of that, some of the smartwatch-like phone integrations aren't great. Whereas the Honor Band 5 tries to do both fitness and smartwatch-y things, which makes it a jack of all trades, but a master of none. You have to decide what is more important to you.
