Even before the OnePlus 7T Pro was launched, we got our first look at the company's next flagship – the OnePlus 8. The leaked renders from earlier this month showcased the device in all its glory, featuring a triple camera setup on the back and a punch-hole display. Now, infamous leaker @OnLeaks has shared renders of its larger sibling – the OnePlus 8 Pro.
As reported by 91mobiles, the leaked renders of the OnePlus 8 Pro reveal that the device will feature the same punch-hole display as the OnePlus 8. But instead of a triple-camera setup, the Pro model will have a quad-camera setup with a new 3D ToF sensor. If this stands true, the OnePlus 8 Pro will be the first smartphone from the company to make use of a ToF sensor.
In terms of design, the device will be much like its smaller sibling and will feature a 90Hz display with curved edges up on the front. However, compared to the 6.5-inch screen tipped for the OnePlus 8, the Pro variant will have a slightly larger 6.65-inch display. The device will also get the redesigned speaker grill that we previously saw in the OnePlus 8 renders.
Other than that, the remaining design elements remain largely unchanged. The USB Type-C port is still placed at the center of the bottom edge, the alert slider and power button can be found on the right edge, and the volume rocker is still on the left edge. However, the leak does reveal that the OnePlus 8 Pro will measure 165. x 74.4 x 8.8 mm in size, which is slightly taller and narrower than its predecessor.
As of now, we have no further information regarding the changes OnePlus might have included on the inside. But as far as the design is concerned, the OnePlus 8 Pro looks to be a minor update with the punch-hole display, redesigned speaker grills, and a new ToF sensor.
