  • Xda-Developers | OxygenOS 10.0.4 for the OnePlus 7T series brings Cloud Service to the Gallery app in India, optimizes low-light front camera photos, and more
  • Over the last couple of years, OnePlus has gained a massive fan base in India, beating Apple and Samsung in the premium smartphone space. In order to reward its community for the support, the company announced new India-specific features for OxygenOS late last month. Among these was a smarter SMS app, OnePlus Roaming, and an updated Gallery app with cloud storage. Now, with the latest OxygenOS update for the OnePlus 7T series, OnePlus is finally rolling out the cloud storage service.

As per a recent post on the OnePlus forums, OxygenOS 10.0.4 for the OnePlus 7T series introduces the new Cloud Service for the Gallery app in India. This new feature gives users access to 5GB of free cloud storage for their precious memories, along with an additional 50GB of free storage for a year.

Along with the changes to the Gallery app, the latest OxygenOS update for the OnePlus 7T series brings low-light optimizations for the front camera on the devices. The update also includes optimizations for translation accuracy and overall communication performance, including improvements for network, phone calls, and mobile data. The update also packs other general bug fixes and improvements which are expected to address some of the software issues we faced while reviewing the OnePlus 7T Pro.

OxygenOS 10.0.4 for the OnePlus 7T series, which measures in at just 99MB, is being rolled out in an incremental fashion. Which means that it'll reach a small percentage of the users at first. Once OnePlus confirms that there are no major issues with the update, it should roll out to the rest of the users in the following days. As of now, there's no information from the company regarding a similar update for the OnePlus 7 series, but it shouldn't be long before the company releases it for its older flagships.
