Samsung India has announced the Android 10 roadmap for its smartphones and tablets. Surprisingly, the South Korean giant is speeding up the upgrade process even to its A- and M-series phones as well alongside the flagships. The Android 10 based One UI 2 update for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 10 Plus, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 Plus, Galaxy M20, Galaxy M30, Galaxy A30 will kick off from January 2020. The Galaxy M40 is set to get the OTA in March 2020. A big chunk of phones, including the Galaxy Fold, Galaxy A80, Galaxy A70, Galaxy A70s, Galaxy A50, Galaxy A50s, Galaxy A9 (2018), Galaxy A7 (2018), Galaxy A6 Plus, Galaxy A6, Galaxy M30s, and Galaxy Tab S6 are scheduled to get the update in April 2020.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, Galaxy A10, Galaxy A10s, Galaxy A20, Galaxy A30s, and Galaxy M10s will be getting the Android 10 based One UI 2.0 update in May 2020. The Galaxy A20s, Galaxy J6, and Galaxy On6 are scheduled to get next-year June. In July 2020, Samsung will be rolling out the One UI 2.0 update to the Galaxy J8, Galaxy On8, Galaxy J7 Duo, Galaxy J6+, Galaxy Tab S5e, and Galaxy Tab S4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e and Tab A8 will be getting the One UI 2.0 upgrade in August and in Galaxy Tab A (2018, 10.5) and Galaxy Tab A 10.1 in September.
One UI 2.0 based on Android would bring a smarter layout, enhanced dark mode, minimized pop-ups, simpler user interface, improved Digital Wellbeing with Focus mode, Intuitive device care menu and much more. The update should also bring the latest Android security patch as well. Samsung says the update may be halted if it encounters any unexpected bugs during testing or rollout.
