  • Will the Samsung Galaxy A81 support S-Pen stylus?
  • “Speculations are rife that ‘N’ in Samsung Galaxy A81’s model number SM-AN815F might indicate support for S-Pen stylus”

Samsung Galaxy A81 is reportedly under development, and the handset may come with support for the S Pen stylus. A Samsung smartphone with model number SM-AN815F has appeared online. Samsung phones usually come with model numbers that start with SM followed by a single letter and numbers then — the Galaxy S-series has SM-Gxxxx and the Note line-up with SM-Nxxx model. For the SM-AN815F, it doesn’t seem to be following the standard model number scheme. Speculations are rife that N in the model number might indicate the support for S-Pen stylus. This has given rise to speculation that the Samsung Galaxy A81 could be the company’s first smartphone outside the Note series to come with S Pen support out of the box.

It remains to be seen if Samsung would bring S-Pen Stylus support to the cheaper Galaxy A-phones as well.

Samsung Galaxy A81 specifications is said to include 128GB onboard storage that might be further expandable as well. However, since there isn’t any software testing for the handset, we suggest you take this piece of information with a pinch of salt. It remains to be seen if Samsung would bring S Pen Stylus support to the cheaper Galaxy A phones as well or the Galaxy A81 would also feature a swivelling camera module just like the Galaxy A80.

Separately, the Samsung Galaxy S11e CAD-based renders surfaced online over the weekend, courtesy of @OnLeaks in association with Pricebaba. The handset packs triple-camera setup at the back and curved display as opposed to the flat panel found on the Galaxy S10e. The Samsung Galaxy S11e renders also suggest the handset will have a centre-aligned hole punch, similar to what we saw on Note 10 and Note 10+.
