“Realme C3, could be successor to the Realme C2 that was launched in May, bears a model number RMX1941, while Realme 5i has model number RMX2030”
Realme X50 5G smartphone with Snapdragon 765G SoC is actively in the development and is inching closer to the launch. However, that isn’t the only device the company is working on — two new phones, dubbed Realme C3 and Realme 5i have received certification from
Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), as discovered by Twitter user @Sudhanshu1414. Realme C3, which will clearly be the successor to the Realme C2 that was launched in May, bears the model number RMX1941, while Realme 5i has model number RMX2030. The latter could be an iteration of Realme 5i with slightly watered-down specifications for budget buyers, in line with what we saw on Realme 3i.

Both the phones are running on ColorOS 6, which is based on Android 9.0 Pie; we can expect them to get the ColorOS 7 update soon after launch. Realme 5i was allegedly spotted on a slew of certification agencies Wi-Fi Alliance, Indonesia’s TKDN, Thailand’s NBTC, and India’s BIS recently. Unfortunately, no specifications of the handset have been revealed at the moment, but there’s a possibility that these phones might launch around the same time as the Realme X50 5G phone.
Realme X50 5G specifications
Separately, Realme X50 5G is tipped to sport a 6.44-inch full HD+ S-AMOLED display and will have a 90Hz refresh rate. It is likely to run on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 7 custom skin on top. The handset is expected to be available in three variants: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB storage. As for the cameras, the Realme X50 5G is said to house a vertically-arranged quad-camera setup with 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it is said to rock a 32MP sensor and an 8MP wide-angle lens in the pill-shaped punch-hole cutout. The handset is tipped to pack a 4,500mAh battery with support for Super VOOC 4.0 fast-charging. The handset is expected to launch in January next year.
