Redmi Note 9S launch is set for March 23rd in Singapore and this comes just a week after the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max phones were announced in the country. The Redmi Note 9S teaser poster images confirm it will have quad rear cameras and a centre-positioned punch-hole design to accommodate the selfie snapper. It is possible the the smartphone is a rebranded Redmi Note 9 Pro or Note 9 Pro Max given the similarity in design and the 48MP quad camera setup. This suggests the upcoming phone will also sport a full HD+ display, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and more.

Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max specifications
To recall, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and Redmi Note 9 Pro were launched in India just a few days ago. Both the smartphones flaunt a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with 1,080 x 2,400 pixels resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. They are powered by the 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB user-expandable storage. Both the phones also ship with Android 10-based MIUI 11 custom skin on top. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ GLONASS, VoWiFi, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port.
In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max rocks quad-rear camera setup with 64MP primary sensor (48MP on the Redmi Note 9 Pro), an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with 120-degree field-of-view, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 32MP snapper in the centre-positioned punch-hole for selfies. While the vanilla Note 9 Pro boasts a 16MP AI sensor for selfie and video calling. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security on both the smartphones. The Redmi Note 9 Pro will be going on sale in India today starting 12PM on Amazon India and Mi.com.
