  • Samsung Galaxy M31 heading to the UK
Whenever anybody mentions a Samsung Galaxy handset, they usually think of the Samsung Galaxy S10 or the Samsung Galaxy S9. However, as we've covered before, the other Samsung Galaxy phones are really very good.

Today we learn that the "M Series" is to expand here in the UK, and the M31 will be turning up in stores here very soon. This one has a 6.4″ Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen (1080 x 2340 pixels with a 19.5:9 ratio at 403 ppi), 6GB memory and 64GB of storage plus a microSD slot for additional storage.

Running Android 10, it's powered by an Exynos 9611 octa-core CPU running at up to 2.3GHz. There's a colossal 6000mAh battery with an in-box 15W fast charger and you can get it in red or black in the UK.

Camera-wise we've got a quad-cam arrangement on the back featuring a 64 megapixel main shooter (f/1.8), and 8 megapixel ultrawide camera, a 5 megapixel macro lens and a 5 megapixel depth sensor. There's a 32 megapixel selfie shooter up front. All that means you can do 4K video recording, hyperlapse, slow-mo and super-steady modes. There's also Night Mode.

Additional goodies include Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, GPS and we think it has NFC (just checking on this one).

For all that, Samsung only want you to pay £245. That's really rather good. It's exclusive to Amazon UK so have a nose over there if you're interested. It looks to be shipping on June 1st, so there's a bit of a wait but you can pre-order. Also, the listing seems to show Android 9.0 but we think it'll either arrive with Android 10 or upgrade itself after you unbox it.
