Huawei’s smartphone plans in India may be in cold storage, but it’s quite active in Europe and home market China. The vendor has been launching the phones in these markets one after the other. It recently took the wraps off the Huawei Enjoy Z 5G smartphone in China. The handset is the first 5G phone from the brand with MediaTek chipset instead of Kirin. The Huawei Enjoy 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimesity 800 SoC and sports 90Hz waterdrop notch display with Full-HD+ resolution. Other key highlights include 48MP triple rear cameras, 4,000mAh battery, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 out of the box.

The Huawei Enjoy Z 5G has been launched with a sticker price of RMB 1,699 (~Rs 18,000) for the base 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage options cost RMB 1,899 (~Rs 20,197) and RMB 2,199 (~Rs 23,300). The phone will be available for sale in from JD.com and Vmall from June 1st onwards in Dark Blue, Sakura Snow Clear Sky, and Magic Night Black colours.

A 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charge fuels the handset, while EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 takes care of its software side of things. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.1, Dual-SIM support, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and OTG support.
