Samsung Galaxy M01 is yet to go official, but it seems the company is already working on the Galaxy M01s. To remind you, the Galaxy M01 is expected to launch in India in June alongside the Galaxy M11. Both the phones are expected to be priced under Rs 15,000 in the country. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy M01s has appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance and Geekbench platforms with model numbers SM-M017F/ SM-M017F/DS. Going by the name, it could be a slightly enhanced version of the upcoming Galaxy M01. The benchmark listing has revealed the Android version, motherboard, and RAM capacity of the Galaxy M01s. The Wi-Fi Alliance listing, on the other hand, reveals the phone will come with dual-SIM support and a single-band 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection.
The Samsung Galaxy M01s has managed to score 747 in single-core and 3,526 in multi-core tests, respectively. The handset is said to pack 3GB RAM and run Android 9.0 Pie, which could change to Android 10 when the phone launches. It is said to be powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6762V chipset, which is the Helio P22 SoC. Unfortunately, no other details of the Galaxy M01s are revealed at the moment, but we can speculate the rest of the specifications could be in the lines of the Galaxy M01.
