  • Samsung Galaxy Note 20 renders imagine a flat display, slim bezels and cameras similar to S20 Ultra

    • Samsung Galaxy Note 20 CAD-based renders show what the phone could look like
    • The flagship may come with Galaxy S20 Ultra-like camera module and a flat display

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is expected to launch in the second half of the year alongside the Galaxy Fold 2. While it is rumoured to retain a similar design as the Galaxy S20 with rounded corners and S Pen support, we haven’t come across renders or a live-image showing off the design. However, some CAD-based renders have surfaced online, courtesy of Pigtou in association with David from xleaks7. The 3D renders image what the Galaxy Note 20 might look like from all angles and there are a few interesting details to point out.

Starting off with the changes, the volume rocker and power button are moved to the right side, consistent with all Samsung flagships except Note 10 phones. The S Pen slot has been shifted to the left side of the phone. It has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout and equally slim-bezels across all the corners. The rear cameras are housed in a rectangular module that looks similar to the Galaxy S20 Ultra’s camera setup complete with a periscope lens for a possible 100x zoom support. However, it is unlikely that Samsung could equip the same lens found on the Galaxy S20 Ultra on both Note 20 models. It will have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and there’s no 3.5mm headphone jack. Since we can’t confirm the accuracy of the leak yet, we suggest you take these renders with a pinch of salt.

    Samsung Galaxy Note 20 specifications

Coming to the rumoured Galaxy Note 20 specifications, we hear the phone will sport a 6.7-inch screen and is said to measure 161.8 x 75.3 x 8.5 mm. We expect to see a couple of models with different screen sizes much like the Galaxy S20 series. The flagships are likely to ship with the Snapdragon 865+ chipset or the Exynos 992 SoC depending on the market. Samsung is said to have made further improvements to the Exynos 990 processor owing to the reports of it not performing as good as the Snapdragon counterpart. The Exynos 992 is said to be manufactured on a more efficient 6nm process. All models are said to feature 120Hz higher refresh rate with dynamic OLED display, and a bigger battery with fast-charging support.
