  • Motorola India has today launched the One Fusion+ smartphone as the latest offering from the Lenevo-owned company.

    The device is the first in its series of Android One devices and carries over the mantle from the Motorola One Vision announced last year.

    The One Fusion+ smartphone packs specs expected of a 2020 budget smartphone with reports it could be a more toned down price device for the POCO X2 device.

    Motorola opted to also bring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G to mid-range users on a juicy 5,000mAh device.

    It’s is also just the second device on the Motorola portfolio to be equiped with a pop-up selfie camera.

    Motorola One Fusion+ Specifications & Features

    The One Fusion+ is an Android One device, which makes it only smartphone in its segment with a stock Android interface this year.

    The device however runs on stock Android 10 and features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) notch-less display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 395ppi pixel density.

    It also gets Motorola’s usual Moto Action additions and there’s even a dedicated Google Assistant button on the device to go with.

    There is a rear fingerprint sensor on the Motorola One Fusion+ and the phone dimensions are quote panned out with 162.9×76.9×9.6mm and it weighs a handy 210 grams.

    The One Fusion+ smartphone offers an uninterrupted 6.5-inch display with narrow bezels. The Fusion+ relies on a Full HD+ IPS LCD panel but it comes with DCI-P3 colours.

    Motorola also says that the device qualifies as a YouTube Signature device, which means it offers the optimum viewing experience on YouTube. There’s support for HDR content too.

    For optics, the Motorola One Fusion+ has a quad camera setup at the back placed in the top left corner in a vertical manner.

    This setup includes a 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 5megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

    For selfies, the pop-up camera module which is just about the second from Motorola houses a 16-megapixel selfie sensor with f/2.2 aperture.

    Running the phone is a Snapdragon 730G chipset which is quite a surprise, paired with Adreno 618 GPU and 6GB RAM.

    Internal storage is clocked at 128GB, and the phone supports storage expansion using a hybrid microSD card solution (up to 1TB).

    There’s a 5000mAh battery powering the Fusion+ and it also gets the TurboPower fast charging rated at 18W touted to last up to two days of use.

    There’s a USB-C port as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.

    For connectivity, the Motorola One Fusion+ options include Bluetooth v5, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, and dual 4G VoLTE.

    Motorola One Fusion+ is priced in India at Rs. 16,999 (approximately NGN85,980 Nigerian naira) for the single 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model.

    The One Fusion smartphone is available in two colour options, the Moonlight White and Twilight Blue, and it will go on sale from June 24 on Flipkart.
