The upcoming mid-range OnePlus Z smartphone has been leaked yet again. A couple of new reports have surfaced online that claim to have revealed all the specifications as well as the launch date of the handset. The OnePlus Z will reportedly launch as early as next week, according to tipster Yuri Semenko, who suggested the smartphone will have specifications such as a 90Hz display with punch-hole design, Snapdragon 765G chipset, triple rear cameras, and 4,000mAh battery. Another Twitter tipster who goes by the name Leaker Baba also posted similar specifications online, though his tweet was deleted later; you can see his post here. The latter also said the OnePlus 8 may not launch until July 14th. These specifications are in line with the previous leaks and rumours. However, popular tipster Max J, who has a good track record with OnePlus leaks, has dismissed the leaked specifications as inaccurate.
Yeah… Pretty much everything on there is wrong.https://t.co/ggIQJgSkfO

In his latest tweet, he called out both Yuri Semenko and Leaker Baba, and claimed pretty much everything mentioned by them is wrong. As mentioned above, Max J has enjoyed a good run with leaks related to OnePlus products. His previous tips regarding OnePlus 8 Pro wireless charging and IP rating and OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T series specifications were bang on target. As for OnePlus Z, he was among the first tipsters to have revealed that the company is working on a new mid-range offering.
He believes that the OnePlus Z could launch next month with Snapdragon 765G chipset, which has an integrated 5G modem ticking at its core. It’s a gaming-focused chipset from Qualcomm, which means you’re likely to experience any lag or stutter while multi-tasking or playing graphic intense games like PUBG on the handset.
The OnePlus Z design, first shared by 91mobiles and subsequently confirmed in leaked renders, will likely be similar to that of its elder sibling, the OnePlus 8. The affordable OnePlus phone will get a punch-hole camera, but it will be located on the top-centre of the screen instead of the corner. The screen will be flat and not curved like the OnePlus 8. The glass panel on the back will see a vertical camera setup in a rectangular module.
