  • Here’s how to watch the OnePlus Nord AR smartphone launch event scheduled for July 21 – The very first of its kind
  • The OnePlus Nord smartphone concept has been the talk of the tech ecosystem for some time now with many enthusiasts definitely deserving of a worthwhile apology for the continuous delay.

    It’s finally happening though...

The Nord budget smartphone offering however, is no longer a concept with the affordable smartphone by the company slated to launch tomorrow being July 21 in an AR event.

I know you’re probably feeling like

OnePlus has been revealing key features of the Nord in the build up to the launch with confirmation of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset with six cameras (four on the rear, two on the front).

There’s also a high-refresh-rate display and OxygenOS that drives home the essential OnePlus experience. OnePlus Nord has been the centre of many leaks and we also know how it looks like in real-life courtesy of leaked design renders and an appearance on a recent YouTube video by MKBHD.

It is quite acceptable leaks and renders are theoretically just to build up excitement leading to the official launch of said gadgets or device, same cannot be said for when the public finally gets their hands on the new release.

OnePlus has announce that the Nord is making its way to India and Europe and is scheduled to launch on July 21 at 7:30 PM IST in an augmented reality event which will let you interact with the phone virtually through the OnePlus Nord AR app.

But first, let’s walk through the entire details you sure need to be up and waiting for the big day.

How to watch the OnePlus Nord AR launch event Live

First things first, AR is something that requires a fast and stable Internet connecting and a powerful phone that can deliver that AR experience to you where to get to realistically interact with the device itself.

So, if you lack one or both in 2020 which is pretty much a certainty anyways in this part of the world, you’re sure going this big time?

    Not, and not at all…winks

You don’t have to worry if you don’t have access to either as the AR launch event will be live-streamed on YouTube and the OnePlus Nord page on the company’s website.

For anyone who wants to watch the launch event online, OnePlus has partnered with some tech creators including Unbox Therapy, Jojol , AlexiBexi, Topes de Gama and Andreagaleazzi who will be live-streaming the launch on their YouTube and Twitch channels.

Moreover, the AR experience will only be available on the OnePlus Nord AR app that’s available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store which lets you experience the world’s first AR launch event of a smartphone.
