The leak, if true, tells us the prices and specs for all the model, including the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. It seems the prices will be similar to last year’s iPhone 11 series. Additionally, the leak reveals that the devices will come with up to 512GB storage, a variety of colour options, Super Retina XDR display, ceramic glass, and up to 5x optical zoom.

iPhone 12 series prices (rumoured)
The iPhone 12 mini price is said to start at $699 (approx Rs 51,000) while the iPhone 12 will cost $799 (~Rs 58,500). Both the phones will come in black, white, red, blue, and green colour options and will be available for pre-booking from October 16th/ 17th onwards.
The iPhone 12 Pro and top-end iPhone 12 Pro Max will cost $999 (~Rs 73,000) and $1,099 (~Rs 80,500), respectively. These models are tipped to come in gold, silver, graphite, and blue hues. Pre-booking of the phones will reportedly start from October 23rd/ 24th.
iPhone 12 series specifications
The leak adds that the lineup will include models with 5.4-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.7-inch screen sizes. All these models will come with 5G connectivity, Super Retina XDR display, and ceramic glass. The iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 is said to be available in 64GB/ 128GB/ 256GB storage capacities, while the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max may come in 128GB/ 256GB/512GB storage options.
The leak reiterates that Apple will not provide charging brick and earphones in the box and they will have to be bought separately. In optics, expect the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini to offer dual rear cameras comprising wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses. Both handsets are tipped to feature new Deep Fusion technology, Smart HDR 3, and Night Mode.
The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, in contrast, may ship with triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a wide-angle sensor with new 7P lens and f/1.6 aperture, ultra-wide angle, and telephoto lens + LiDAR sensor – similar to 2020 iPad Pro. The biggest difference between the two phones will reportedly be larger sensors and optical zoom. The 12 Pro is said to ship with 6.52mm focal length telephoto lens for 4x optical zoom, while the 12 Pro Max could offer 5x optical zoom with a 6.65mm focal length telephoto lens. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is expected to pack a larger sensor.
The iPhone 12 series could also feature 15W wireless charging support, called Magsafe. Although it’s not stated here, the handsets are expected to support 20W wired charging, flaunt iPhone 4-like design, and rock the new A14 Bionic chip under the hood. Software-wise, the phones will most likely run iOS 14 out of the box.
Apple HomePod Mini and Magsafe
The leak also spills the beans on Apple HomePod Mini and magnetic case Magsafe, which are expected to launch alongside iPhone 12 series. The HomePod Mini is tipped to be 3.3-inches tall and sport S5 chip under the hood. The smart speaker with Siri may go on sale in most places on November 6th/ 7th. The Magsafe charger will be released on November 12th/ 13th.
