“The Huawei P30 Pro flagship is expected to come with support for 5x lossless zoom”
Huawei is all set to unveil its next-gen P series flagship smartphones dubbed the P30, P30 Pro and P30 Lite at an event in Paris. Ahead of the unveiling, the upcoming phones from the brands have been the subject of a number of leaks and reports lately. Recently, the most high-end offering of the trio, the Huawei P30 Pro, was spotted on the benchmarking website Geekbench. Now, the smartphone has been certified by a regulatory authority in Thailand.
The Huawei P30 Pro has received certification from the Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in Thailand. The device was earlier popping up on other certification sites with the model number VOG-L29, but its name wasn’t confirmed until now. However, the certification by NBTC hasn’t revealed anything else about the Huawei P30 Pro’s specifications.
Notably, the Huawei P30 Pro’s smaller sibling, the Huawei P30 Lite was also recently certified by the same agency in Thailand. Also, both the P30 and P30 Pro were recently spotted on NCC certification in Taiwan and on the TKDN website in Indonesia.
