OnePlus is set to announce the OnePlus 7 series on May 14th officially and this is the first time the brand will be launching two models simultaneously, along with a 5G variant of the OnePlus 7 Pro. The teaser also gives us a glimpse of the glass back, vertically arranged triple rear camera module positioned in the middle and OnePlus logo beneath. As hinted in a teaser recently, OnePlus 7 Pro is said to have a bezel-less curved display and a pop-up selfie shooter for the first time (for the company). According to previous leaks and rumours, the smartphone is said to feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ display Super AMOLED screen, be powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC and runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Oxygen OS on top.
Furthermore, the handset is likely to pack an in-display fingerprint sensor, and 4,000mAh battery with 30W Warp Charge fast-charging tech. The triple rear camera setup is speculated to rock a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel telephoto secondary lens and 16-megapixel wide-angle lenses. On the front, it is said to have a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 7 will look a lot like its predecessor the OnePlus 6T and is said to have a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display, powered by the same Snapdragon 855 flagship SoC, and a slightly lower 3,700mAh battery with 20W fast-charging. Other rumoured features for the handset include dual rear cameras and in-display fingerprint sensor. The upcoming OnePlus flagships, for the first time, are said to come in Mirror Grey, Almond, and Nebula Blue hues, with gradient colours.
