“Samsung is expected to introduce as many as four variants of the Galaxy Note 10 this year”
Samsung has just announced that it will be holding its next Unpacked event on August 7th at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York. At the event, the South Korean tech giant will be introducing its next Galaxy Note series flagship, the Galaxy Note 10. The event’s invite doesn’t reveal much, but it does show a stylus and a single camera lens, which could mean notable upgrades in those two departments. If reports are to be believed, the smartphone could have a single selfie camera embedded in the display in the middle.

According to previous leaks, Samsung will be introducing as many as four variants of the Galaxy Note 10. The brand is expected to launch the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ or Pro, alongside their 5G network supported variants. The Note 10 is said to feature a 6.4-inch display, while the Note 10+ could have a slightly bigger 6.75-inch screen. Both are tipped to offer a resolution of 1,440 x 3,040 pixels and support for HDR10+ standard. Since they won’t have an earpiece on top of the screen, the new Note models are expected to utilise the Screen Soundcasting technology.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ are both expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 SoC. In markets like India, they could arrive with either the Exynos 9820 chipset or the upcoming Exynos 9825 processor. Their 5G counterparts are expected to feature Qualcomm’s X50 modem to enable support for the next-gen networks. Samsung is expected to offer the new Note with up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of native storage.
In the imaging department, the Galaxy Note 10 models are expected to offer three primary cameras at the rear including the main sensor, a telephoto shooter, and an ultra-wide angle lens. The Galaxy Note 10 variants are said to feature an additional Time-of-Flight sensor. Under the hood, the Note 10 and Note 10 Pro are expected to have a 4,000mAh and a 4,500mAh battery respectively with support for 25W or 45W fast charging support.
