“OPPO was earlier scheduled to launch the Find X2 flagship smartphone today in Barcelona before MWC 2019 was cancelled due to Coronavirus concerns.”
OPPO Find X2 launch will now take place on March 6th if a leaked invite image is to be believed. For those who are unaware, OPPO was earlier scheduled to launch the Find X2 flagship smartphone today in Barcelona before MWC 2019 was cancelled due to Coronavirus concerns. Apart from the flagship smartphone, the brand is also expected to unveil a new smartwatch at the event as the wearable was teased just recently by OPPO’s VP Brian Shen. Thankfully, the OPPO Find X2 has already been spotted on the brand’s official Vietnam website, which revealed the handset’s key specifications, so you can already make up your mind about what the phone is about to bring. Unfortunately, the leaked invite image itself doesn’t confirm any specifications or features regarding the phone. For what its worth, we are expecting two phones to be unveiled at the event, a regular and a pro version of the OPPO Find X2.
OPPO Find X2 leaked specifications
As per the listing on the Vietnam website, the OPPO Find X2 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB built-in storage. The listing suggests that the OPPO Find X2 features a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 2K screen resolution and 120Hz fast refresh rate, which is the maximum that has been offered in smartphones to date and is currently available on just handful of products overall.
If we talk about optics, the OPPO Find X2 has been tipped to sport a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary unit, an 8-megapixel secondary unit, and a 13-megapixel tertiary unit, with the latter two expected to be ultra-wide and telephoto cameras. For selfies and video-calling, the OPPO Find X2 is said to feature a 32-megapixel sensor for the front camera. To keep lights on for the handset, there is a 4,065mAh battery included on the phone. According to earlier leaks, the battery will support up to a whopping 65W fast-charging standard. As you might expect, the smartphone will run on Android 10 with ColorOS 7 custom interface on top. You will be able to buy the OPPO find X2 in Blue Ocean and Blue Sea Night colours.
