  • Motorola phone with pop-up selfie camera and fingerprint sensor with LED ring leaked in live images
  • “The Motorola handset packs stock Android interface and the camera app interface is similar to recent Moto phones like the Motorola One Vision and One Action”

Live images of a mysterious Motorola phone surfaced online, courtesy of Motorola Latinoamerica Facebook page. These reveal dual rear camera setup and a pop-up selfie snapper, making it the company’s first handset to feature a pop-up camera mechanism. It can also be seen with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and ultra-slim bezels on the front. Furthermore, the handset in question also features an illuminated ring around the fingerprint sensor, presumably functioning as a notification light. The handset can be seen with dark blue gradient colour and glossy back panel.

The handset is said to carry Moto Z4 Force moniker and is apparently meant for Latin America markets, according to sources. However, Motorola in a Tweet after the Moto Z4 launch mentioned that it wouldn’t be launching any other Moto Z devices this year, thereby making the Moto Z4 Force claim a little hard to believe. The device seemingly lacks support for Moto Mods that are a part of the Z-series line-up as there are no 16-pin connector pins. The text on the bezel beneath the screen reads “Motorola Confidential Property Not For Sale,” suggesting that the phone could be a prototype or an internal testing unit.

Like with most Motorola phones, the handset also runs on a stock Android interface, and the camera app interface is also similar to recent Moto phones like the Motorola One Vision and Motorola One Action. Unfortunately, no other details about the handset, including hardware specifications are revealed yet, so it remains to be seen if Motorola would be launching the phone in India as well.
