Huawei Mobile Brazil’s account was hacked this Thursday. The result was two malicious tweets aimed at insulting Apple and “mocking” those who can’t buy Huawei equipment.
In the first of the tweets, inappropriate language is used, with reference on Black Friday. The hacker decided to joke about the fact that not even at this time of year can people with the most difficulty buy branded equipment.
In the second tweet, Apple’s primary account was identified. The sole purpose was to denigrate the apple company, saying that Huawei “is the best.” The tweets were immediately deleted, but once on the internet, forever on the internet.
Huawei apologized for what happened
Several users took captures screen, and Huawei would quickly apologize for it. Fortunately, the company quickly managed to get back in control of the page.
The unusual event was greeted with a lot of humor on social networks. Users even say that the hacker is right, and that the manufacturer’s devices are very expensive in Brazil.
Please note that Huawei is in the process of being banned by the United States. Google is not allowed to trade with Google, and the latest branded smartphones hit the market without services like YouTube, Maps, or Gmail.
