Huawei is “stomping” with the United States over allegations of espionage and security. The Chinese manufacturer is the processor the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This is the entity responsible for banning the company in the United States.
Due to suspected espionage, the FCC has banned the general use of Huawei equipment in the country, whether mobile phones or even infrastructure. In fact, most Chinese technology brands are excluded from the US market, ZTE being another example.
Therefore, Huawei intends that this situation be reviewed in court and contest all allegations. The Shenzhen giant then has 30 days to file its appeal at the Court of Appeals in New Orleans.
Huawei may already buy technology from US companies but with limits
Recently, the US government has issued a license that allows Huawei to buy technology back from US companies. However, this license so far has been quite limited. There were about 300 Huawei made proposals, half of which were rejected.
One is the Android license from Google, which is still in standby. Huawei Mate 30 Pro had its global release “tarnished” because it did not have Google services of origin. On the other hand, Huawei has managed to agree with Microsoft to put Windows 10 on its laptops.
This is a very complicated situation that seems to be endless. This is all due to a trade war between the United States and China, where none of the nations seem to want to arm and end this dispute.
