If rumours are anything to go by, the phone may rock MediaTek SoC that supports fifth-gen cellular connectivity. The Redmi K30 is expected to be a follow-up of Redmi K20, which is a mid-range offering in India and rocks Snapdragon 730 chipset as well as pop-up selfie camera. As for the Redmi K30, the phone will allegedly feature dual 5G support, which means it’ll support both SA (Standalone mode) and the NSA (Non-standalone mode) that relies on existing LTE mode for tasks like communication between cell towers and servers.

The handset may sport a pop-up selfie camera design with a notch- and bezel-less display. For photography, the Redmi K30 could sport a 64-megapixel Samsung Bright GW1 sensor, which is a successor to the 48-megapixel sensor that the Redmi K20 series sports. The handset is likely to be priced over RMB 2,000 (roughly Rs 21,000) in China. That’s all the information we can divulge about the handset at the moment.
