    OPPO Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro smartphones were launched at an event in China earlier this week. While the former comes with MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000L SoC, the Snapdragon 765G SoC powers the Pro model. Now that the phones are available, a Weibo user has shared the AnTuTu benchmark test results of both the phones and they were surprising to say the least.

    While the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G scored 320,822 points, the regular Reno 3 5G outshines the Pro model with a score of 337,669 points. The Dimensity 1000L recorded a CPU and GPU score of 126,692 and 99,250 points, while the Snapdragon 765G-powered Reno 3 Pro scored just 102,230 in CPU and 93,977 points in GPU benchmark. However, the Reno 3 Pro 5G came at the top in the memory and UX categories.

    As for the specifications, OPPO Reno 3 Pro flaunts a 6.5-inch full HD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It has a punch-hole cutout at the top to accommodate the selfie camera. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage onboard. In terms of optics, the Reno 3 Pro has a quad-camera setup with a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, a 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP sensor. On the front, it has a 32MP shooter for selfies and video chats. A 4,025mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 30W fast charging support fuels the handset.

    On the other hand, the Reno 3 sports a 6.4-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by the latest Dimensity 1000L SoC with 5G support. The Reno 3 5G also rocks a quad-camera setup at the back consisting of a 64MP primary sensor paired with an 8MP Ultra-Wide-angle-Lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP macro, and 2MP mono lens with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, it sports a 32MP shooter on the front. A 4,025mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 30W fast charging fuels the handset. It runs on Android 10 with ColorOS 7 custom skin on top.
