This will be paired with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and 5G connectivity. Moving to the optics, the Galaxy S20 Ultra will have a 108MP primary sensor, as reported previously, a 48MP telephoto lens with 10X optical zoom and 100x hybrid zoom feature, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Separately, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus is said to pack quad-rear cameras at the back that will include a 12MP 1.8μm Sony IMX555 sensor, a 64MP high resolution primary sensor, and a Samsung ISOCELL third camera. However, we don’t know the details regarding the fourth sensor, but it could be a macro lens. The front camera is said to be a 10MP Sony IMX374 sensor. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus will have the ability to record 8K videos at 30fps. Apart from this, it can record in 4K 60fps with OIS and EIS for both front and rear cameras.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus camera features will include the zoom-in mic feature from the Galaxy Note 10 to the S series, a ‘Smart selfie angle’ that would detect the number of users in the frame and switch to wide-angle mode on the selfie camera, a ‘Single Take’ feature that will pan the phone around the environment as it takes pictures and videos, among others. This mode works for selfies as well. It is said to come with Pro mode for video recording to control lighting, white balance, and other settings. The Galaxy S20 Plus will have a dedicated microphone for better audio in videos and LED flash from the Galaxy S10.
