OPPO seems to be gearing up to launch a new smartphone in its Reno line-up soon as it filed a trademark with the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) on April 20th. The trademark for ‘Reno Glow’ was published on April 24th and is categorised as Class 9, which includes smartphones. The application was filed by Domingo Galletero, a company from Alicante, Spain. Like with other Reno phones, the Reno Glow should also have an interesting and trademark design and the Glow moniker could be referring to the camera, perhaps with better low-light photography.
Considering that most recent OPPO premium phones shipped with 5G connectivity, the Reno Glow should also join the pack. Since the handset is in the trademark stage, it’s hard to speculate on things such as its hardware specifications and design. But if OPPO is indeed working on it, we should learn more details pretty soon.
OPPO Reno 3A specifications
Separately, Reno 3A specifications had leaked online recently, suggesting its imminent launch. The handset is tipped to ship with a 6.44-inch AMOLED Full-HD+ display and be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. It is said to arrive with quad cameras consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a couple of 2MP sensors, which could be macro and depth. It is said to have a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies. The phone is expected to run on the latest ColorOS 7 atop Android 10 out of the box. The Reno 3A will reportedly pack a 4,025mAh battery and may have fast-charging support. However, the OPPO Reno 3A price, storage, RAM, and availability information are unknown.
