Samsung Galaxy M31s and Galaxy M51 smartphones are expected to make their global debut in India and we now have some exclusive information on their launch timeline courtesy industry sources. The Samsung Galaxy M31s India launch may happen very soon as we are told Samsung could announce the phone as early as next week or in early June. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy M51 will launch in late June. There is a chance the Galaxy M51 could launch earlier, but availability of the phone may get delayed to late June or early July as Samsung is facing slow production owing to the lockdown restrictions, our sources tell us. While the M31s is expected to be an upgraded version of Samsung Galaxy M31 from earlier this year, the Samsung Galaxy M51 will be a brand new phone. Additionally, we are told that both phones will feature 64MP quad cameras.
Samsung Galaxy M31s, Galaxy M51 specifications
Details regarding the Samsung Galaxy M31s and Galaxy M51 specifications are scarce at the moment, but we can tell that both phones will feature 64MP quad cameras. The primary sensor will most likely be Samsung’s own ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor. This also means the leaked Galaxy M51 render in March was a fake as it showed a triple camera setup. Both the Galaxy M31s and Galaxy M51 are expected to be mid-range phones, so they should feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, especially the latter model.
Additionally, a report by SamMobile a few days ago revealed that the two upcoming Samsung models will ship with 128GB storage. There will likely be a lower 64GB option on offer as well. Software-wise, both the phones should run on Android 10-based One UI 2.0 out of the box. That’s all we know about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M31s and Samsung Galaxy M51 smartphones so far!
