  • Highlights
    • OPPO Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro will succeed the Reno 3 line-up
    • These are expected to come with an AMOLED display, 65W fast charging support and a punch-hole design

Reno 4 and Reno 4 China launch is set for June 5th, as revealed by OPPO through a new teaser image. This also confirms the punch-hole design for the selfie camera, the triple camera setup arranged vertically and Reno Glow engraving, which looks bold and unique. We already know a good deal about the flagships, thanks to multiple teasers, leaked renders via JD.com listing and TENAA certification that revealed complete specifications. The OPPO Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro will have 5G connectivity and succeed the Reno 3 line-up that debuted back in 2019.

OPPO Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro specifications

According to the TENAA listing, the OPPO Reno 4 and Reno 4 will flaunt a 6.43-inch and 6.55-inch AMOLED displays. Rumours suggest they will be powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC and will be available in 8GB, 12GB RAM and 128GB, 256GB storage that may be further expandable. The Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro will have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and boot Android 10 OS, likely to be skinned with ColorOS 7.0. Talking about the optics, the Reno 4 Pro TENAA listing suggests it’ll have a 48MP primary sensor, a 12MP secondary lens, and a 13MP third-sensor. For selfies, the phone is tipped to arrive with a 32MP snapper.

    Reno 4

The vanilla Reno 4 will have the same 48MP main camera but will be paired with an 8MP secondary lens and a 2MP third sensor. Unlike the Reno 4 Pro, the standard Reno 4 will have a pill-shaped punch-hole to house a 32MP primary sensor and a 2MP second lens.  A recent leak claims both phones will house a 4,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. We should know their pricing and availability details when they’re officially unveiled next-week.
