Google Pixel 4a was finally launched globally on Monday, after several delays, and will succeed the Pixel 3a from last year. The newest Pixel is a mid-range smartphone promises to deliver a similar experience as one would expect from a flagship Pixel phone, but at a more affordable price point. The Google Pixel 4a highlights a punch-hole OLED display, 12MP rear camera, and stock Android 10 experience out of the box, among other things. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 730G chipset and will launch in a few markets around the world this month. Unfortunately, the Google Pixel 4a will release in India only in October. Surprisingly, Google also announced that the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 will be coming soon, but the specifications of the two models have not been revealed yet.
Google Pixel 4a price and sale date
The Google Pixel 4a price is set at $349 (approx Rs 26,200) in the US and it comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The company is yet to announce the Pixel 4a India price and the exact launch date in the country, but we know that it will release sometime in October.
Additionally, Google announced that the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 will be launching this fall. The Pixel 4a 5G will be priced at $499 (approx Rs 37,500), while the price of the Pixel 5 is yet to be revealed. Both the phones will be available in the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, and Australia.

The Google Pixel 4a sports a 5.8-inch FHD+ OLED display with a punch-hole cutout on the top left corner and slim bezels all around. The display supports HDR+ and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Pixel 4a is powered by the mid-range Snapdragon 730G chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The Pixel 4a gets a single 12MP camera at the back with OIS support and an LED flash. The camera comes with features like Live HDR+, dual exposure controls, Night Sight with astrophotography, Portrait Mode, and Super Res Zoom. Up front, the Google Pixel 4a gets an 8MP selfie camera.
Google’s newest mid-range Pixel smartphone packs a 3,140mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. The handset features stereo speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a polycarbonate unibody that includes a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone is equipped with a Titan M security chip and Google features like Assistant, Live Transcribe, Live Caption, and so on. Google says customers buying the Pixel 4a will get to try out YouTube Premium and Google One for three months in addition to unlimited photo and video storage in high quality.
