Google Pixel 4a was launched globally yesterday with mid-range specifications such as the Snapdragon 730G SoC, 12MP rear camera and a 3,140mAh battery. The smartphone will go on sale in India sometime in October via Flipkart although the exact launch date and India price are yet to be confirmed. Google also announced that the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 will be coming soon to select markets. Unfortunately, India will not be one of the markets where the Google Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 will be available. More details about the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 will be announced in the coming months.
Google, in a statement, said, “Regarding the two new 5G Pixel phones that were announced globally today, these will not be available in India or Singapore, based on a variety of factors including local market trends and product features. We remain deeply committed to our current Pixel phones and look forward to bringing future Pixel devices to these countries.”
