The Realme X7 series launch is set for tomorrow in China and a new leak now suggests that the brand may have another model in the lineup. Realme V3 smartphone reportedly will be unveiled at tomorrow’s launch event, alongside the X7 series models. Interestingly, the Realme V3 is expected to be the most affordable offering from the brand to feature 5G connectivity and may be priced as low as CNY 1,000 (roughly Rs 10,500). If the handset is launched in India around the same price point, Realme V3 could become the most affordable phone with 5G support in India too.
As per a report by GizmoChina, based on a leak from Chinese microblogging website Weibo, the handset with model number RMX2200/RMX2201 will be launched alongside the Realme X7 series models. Now, this model number has previously been spotted on TENAA and has been said to be Realme V3. Notably, the alleged Realme V3 has weaker specifications compared to the X7 series models and is expected to be priced much lower as well. And since the handset with model number RMX2201 has already been spotted on TENAA, we already have the Realme V3 specifications with us as well.
Realme V3 expected specifications
As per the TENAA listing, the alleged Realme V3 (RMX2201) features a 6.52-inch display and measures 164.4x76x8.6mm. The handset packs a 4,890mAh battery, which will most likely be marketed as 5,000mAh. As per the GizmoChina report, the handset is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of built-in storage.
In the camera department, Realme V3 is said to feature a triple camera arrangement with a 13-megapixel primary sensor, assisted by two 2-megapixel units. For selfies, the phone is said to pack an 8-megapixel shooter. In what might be described as a dated design choice, the phone is expected to feature the fingerprint sensor at the back.
