Samsung Galaxy A12 is in the development and will succeed Galaxy A11 that debuted earlier this year. it will be a budget offering from the South Korean giant and speculations are rife that it won’t be all that different compared to the predecessor. However, storage is where the Galaxy A12 will see an upgrade. According to a report from SamMobile, it will come with a 64GB storage option in addition to 32GB and will bear a model number SM-A125F. In comparison, the Galaxy A11 came only with 32GB variant. While other details aren’t revealed, the Galaxy A12 could have triple cameras, an LCD display and a physical fingerprint sensor.
To recall Samsung Galaxy A11 specifications, it features a 6.4-inch, HD+ display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. It is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor and comes in two models: 2GB + 32GB and 3GB + 32GB native storage that is further expandable via a microSD card up to 512GB. There is a physical fingerprint sensor for security. It runs on Android 10 OS with OneUI custom layer on top.
As for the optics, the Galaxy A11 features triple camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2MP secondary lens, and a 5MP sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8MP snapper on the front. A 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging fuels the phones. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB Type-C port. It is available in Black, Blue, Red, and White colours.
