At the recent Unpacked 2020 event, Samsung announced that the Galaxy Note20 series will get three generations of Android updates. This means that the Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra will receive Android 11, 12, and 13 updates in the future. Moreover, the company confirmed that the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S20, the Galaxy Note 10 series devices are also eligible for the next three Android versions. Samsung has now expanded the list to add some more smartphones as well as tablets to the list.

Besides this, Samsung has also confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S20 series is going to be among the first batch of Galaxy devices to receive the Android 11 update, which is scheduled to arrive later this year. Samsung said it is committed to delivering the latest Android update to the devices that are eligible, provided the hardware is capable of supporting new features and deliver the optimised user experience.
