Redmi Note 10 series is reportedly in the works, though we haven’t come across any leaks or rumours about the phones until now. As per a new tip, two Xiaomi devices with codename Gauguin and Gauguin Pro have surfaced online. One of the devices bears the model number M2007J17C and this is speculated to be the upcoming Mi 10T Lite (M2007J17G), which is expected to launch globally on September 30th. According to Twitter user Abhishek Yadav, the Mi 10T Lite could be rebranded as the Redmi Note 10 (M2007J17C) in China and possibly in India as well.

Redmi Note 10 aka Mi 10T Lite had bagged TUV Rheinland certification, which revealed a 4,820mAh battery (probably marketed as 5,000mAh capacity) and BM4W model number. This same battery has been listed on the India BIS certification website, thereby hinting the device could launch in India as well. The tipster further claims the Redmi Note 10 will be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC. Lastly, a post on Weibo claims the Redmi Note 10 launch is expected in October, which isn’t too far. Unfortunately, that’s pretty much everything we so far know about the phone, but we hope to learn more details soon.
Earlier this month, a mysterious Xiaomi phone with model number M2007J22C had reportedly bagged network access. The phone will come with 5G connectivity and is said to be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 820 SOC and 8GB RAM. The phone is likely to get a high refresh rate display and NFC connectivity. It was speculated to be the Redmi Note 10, but the latest tip contradicts that.
