  • Samsung Galaxy S21+ with 8GB RAM and Exynos2100 chipset appears on Geekbench
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 series is expected to launch early next year and the lineup should include the Galaxy S21+ model that slots in between the regular S21 and the S21 Ultra. While nothing is confirmed yet, it is speculated that the Samsung Galaxy S21+ will carry the model number SM-G996B. Now, this model number has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking website with some details. It is possible that this could be our first look at the specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21+. The listing mentions a mysterious Exynos moniker along with the RAM and Android operating system.

As per the Geekbench listing, the Samsung Galaxy S21+ will come with the Exynos2100 chipset, which will most likely be called the Exynos 1000 SoC as past rumours suggest. The Geekbench listing further reveals 8GB RAM and Android 11 OS, both of which come as no surprise.

The Samsung device managed to score 1038 in single-core and 3060 in multi-core scores. These scores are good for a flagship processor but fall slightly short of what Snapdragon 865-powered phones have achieved, especially in multi-core performance. This is to be expected as tipster Ice Universe claimed that the next Exynos flagship processor won’t be as powerful as the next Qualcomm Snapdragon flagship SoC.
