After numerous leaks and reports, the Galaxy A20 has been officially launched by Samsung, in Russia, as part of the A series. The brand previously launched the Galaxy A10, A30, and A50 phones in India, making the Galaxy A20 the latest entrant in the series. Much like the other A series phones unveiled so far, the Galaxy A20 too is a budget offering with some interesting features such as a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED bezel-less display, dual-rear cameras.
Samsung Galaxy A20 price
The handset, for now, is only available in Russia, but Samsung will most definitely launch the phone in other markets including India very soon. As for the price, Galaxy A20 is priced at RUB 13,990 (Rs 14,900 approx.) and is available in Black and Blue colours. However, when the phone does launch in other markets, the price might vary.
Samsung Galaxy A20 specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A20 sports a 6.4-inch HD+ SUPER AMOLED Infinity U display with 720 x 1,560 pixels resolution. Like the other A series phones in the segment, the smartphone also packs a polycarbonate build and has a waterdrop notch above the display to accommodate the selfie shooter. It is powered by the Samsung’s in-house Exynos 7884 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz octa-core processor; this is the same chipset that is used on the Galaxy A10. The handset packs 3GB RAM and 32GB storage that is further expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. It runs on One UI based on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
For biometrics-based security, there is a fingerprint sensor on the back. While it is not confirmed yet, the Galaxy A20 is also said to have NFC support as well. As for the cameras, the phone packs dual-rear cameras which consist of a 13MP primary and a 5MP secondary shooter. There is an 8MP front-facing shooter for selfies. Powering the phone is a 4000mAh battery.
