  • Realme Narzo 10A goes on sale in India today: should you buy it or the Realme C3?
  • Highlights
    • Realme Narzo 10A price in India is set at Rs 8,499, while Realme C3 is available for Rs 7999
    • Narzo 10A comes with fingerprint sensor and a triple camera setup

Realme Narzo 10A will go on sale for the first time today in India. The smartphone, which launched alongside the Narzo 10, will be available on Flipkart and Realme.com starting 12PM IST. The Narzo 10 went on sale a few days ago and saw a tremendous response from fans as 70,000 units were sold in a matter of minutes. We expect the Realme Narzo 10A to see a similar response, if not better given its budget pricing. The smartphone highlights specifications like the MediaTek G70 chipset, 5,000mAh battery and a waterdrop display. Some of these specs, however, are very similar to the Realme C3. So which phone should you buy?

Realme Narzo 10A price in India

The Narzo 10A India price is set at Rs 8,499 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage configuration. This is the only configuration you will get at the moment. The first sale for the Narzo 10A begins today at 12PM on Realme.com and Flipkart. The phone sits right above the Realme C3, which is priced at Rs 7,999. While the Narzo 10A and Realme C3 are similar in many ways, there are a few upgrades that you get with the Narzo phone

Realme Narzo 10A vs Realme C3 specifications

Both the Realme Narzo 10A and Realme C3 come with a similar 6.5-inch HD+ waterdrop display, so they look similar from the front. However, the design from the back is entirely different. The Narzo 10A comes with a new finish where we see the ‘Realme’ name boldly etched across the back. It’s a loud design compared to the Realme C3, which is cleaner with what the company calls the Sunrise design.

There are two notable upgrades that you get with the Realme Narzo 10A – fingerprint sensor and an extra rear camera. The Realme C3 does not have a fingerprint sensor and relies on face recognition and pattern/PIN unlock. The Narzo 10A gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, which should be faster and more convenient for many users.

As for the cameras, the Narzo 10A gets a triple camera setup that includes a 12MP main sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP portrait lens. The Relame C3 gets the same 12MP main and 2MP depth sensors minus the macro lens. Everything else is more or less the same. Both the phones offer a 5,000mAh battery, 5MP selfie camera and a triple card slot. They also ship with Android 10 with Realme UI out of the box.

Should you buy the Narzo 10A or the Realme C3?

The Narzo 10A and Realme C3 are pretty evenly matched when it comes to specifications. You’re likely to get the same day-to-day performance and battery life since they both offer the same chipset and battery capacity. That being said, you may want to spend Rs 500 more and buy the Narzo 10A if having a fingerprint sensor and a macro camera are really important to you. If you’re looking for a more sober design, the Realme C3 seems to be a better option. If you already have the Realme C3 and are thinking about upgrading to the Narzo 10A, we feel the phone does not offer enough new features to justify an upgrade.
