  • Best Snapdragon 865 SoC phones: OnePlus 8, POCO F2 Pro, Motorola Edge+, POCO F2 Pro, and more
  • Snapdragon 865 phones’ list includes the likes of OnePlus 8, Samsung Galaxy S20, Redmi K30 Pro, Realme X50 Pro, Mi 10, iQOO 3, as well as OPPO Find X2 and Ace2, among others.

Snapdragon 865 phones are increasing in number in the market as the chipset is becoming the preferred choice of many Android smartphone makers across brands, including Samsung, Xiaomi, Realme, OPPO, and Vivo. Of course, more brands will follow suit. The new Snapdragon 865 SoC succeeds last year’s Snapdragon 855 SoC with a handful of iterative upgrades and performance improvements across the board. Snapdragon 865 phones are said to offer powerful gaming capabilities, faster AI processing, and a 25 percent performance boost and power efficiency when compared to last year. Before we get into the list of the best Snapdragon 865 phones, here’s everything you need to know about the chipset.

    Snapdragon 865 SoC key highlights

As stated above, Snapdragon 865 is Qualcomm’s flagship SoC. It brings in enhancements such as the new ARM cores, more power-efficient process node as well as image signal processor, and latest connectivity options. The chipset is forged using 7nm chipset that features the Qualcomm Kyro 585 cores clocked at up to 2.84GHzfor performance. This is aided by 5th-gen AI Engine, which is capable of doing 15 TOPS (trillion operations per second) — 2x faster than the fourth-gen AI processor on the Snapdragon 855. The Adreno 650 GPU handles the graphics on this chipset.

Snapdragon 865 phones can support camera resolutions as high as 200MP, though we are a fair distance behind that resolution. Furthermore, the devices equipped with the flagship SoC can shoot 8K videos at 30fps; moreover, they can simultaneously record 4k footage and capture photos at 64MP resolution.

In short, the Snapdragon 865 phones will be capable of handling everything with aplomb, including graphics-intensive games that can run at the highest settings without lag or jitter. So without any further ado, let’s begin with the list of best phones with Snapdragon 865 chipset.
