    Vivo X50 and X50 Pro are launching in India today. The handsets have already been launched in China with mid-range specifications so the key highlight here will be the Vivo X50 series price in India. Both Vivo phones are touted as camera-centric devices that feature gimbal-like stabilisation. The handsets are equipped with a quad-camera setup at the back, which is headlined by a 48MP primary sensor. Under the hood, the Vivo X50 and X50 Pro rock the 5G-enabled Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage onboard. Other key highlights include punch-hole AMOLED display, 90Hz refresh rate, a beefy battery cell, 33W fast charging, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. 

    How to watch Vivo X50 series India launch live-stream

    The Vivo X50 series India launch is scheduled for today, i.e. July 16th, at 12 pm. The vendor will unveil the handsets via an online event that’ll be live-streamed across the country on the company’s social media accounts and YouTube channel. Apart from the handsets, Vivo is also expected to launch its wireless accessory Vivo TWS Earphone Neo in India.

     

    Vivo X50, X50 Pro specifications

    The Vivo X50 and X50 Pro specifications will be as follow: 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that bears 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole in the top-right corner. The Pro model has HDR10+ support. The handsets will be powered by Snapdragon 765G SoC, which is a gaming-centric chipset and has 5G modem integrated. The regular Vivo X50 houses a 4,200mAh battery, while the Pro model will get a bigger 4,315mAh capacity and both phones will support 33W fast charging.

    Software-wise, the Vivo X50 series will boot Android 10-based FunTouchOS out of the box, and in the imaging department, will rock quad-camera setup with 48MP Sony IMX598 primary sensor, a 13MP Samsung S5K3L6 lens, an 8MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, the phones have a 32MP Samsung GD1 sensor for selfies and video chats.
